Positive communication ideas illuminated for Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai residents

Over 500 residents of Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai had a day of fun at the “Be Positive Community Carnival” held in Tin Shui Wai on Sunday, 22 May.

Children and their parents enjoyed a series of performances presented by children groups and took part in various activities including game booths featuring the carnival theme “Five Keys to Positive Communication”: “appreciation”, “savoring”, “be joyful”, “stay fit” and “eat well”.

Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, Tin Shui Wai (North) Integrated Family Service Centre joined with four other organizations to invite families to embrace the power of positive communication by participating in the carnival.

“Be Positive Community Carnival” was organized by The Hong Kong Council of Social Science, A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society, and School of Public Health of The University of Hong Kong.

Yuen Long District Co-ordinating Committee on Family and Child Welfare Services was the supporting partner.
