The Secretary for Security Mr John Lee visits HOPE Centre

The Secretary for Security Mr John Lee visited HOPE Support Service Centre (HOPE Centre) on 18 November 2017 to learn more about the livelihood of Ethnic Minorities.

Accompanied by the District Officer (Wan Chai), Mr Rick Chan, Mr Lee was greeted by Mr C. P. Ho, Chairman of ISS-HK and Mr Stephen Yau, Chief Executive of ISS-HK upon his arrival. Mr Lee then toured around the Centre and was briefed about the services provided there. He also chatted with the ethnic minorities to learn more about their daily lives.
 
The HOPE Centre offers various support services for ethnic minorities living in Hong Kong including language training classes, computer classes, tutorial classes for children and youth activities. It also joins hands with schools, community groups and religious organisations in reaching out to the ethnic minority communities.
