ISS-HK 60th Anniversary Emblem Design Competition

In 2018 ISS Hong Kong will celebrate its 60th anniversary of establishment and an Emblem Design Competition was held to invite creative minds to design an emblem to commemorate the special occasion. Designs based on the Diamond Anniversary’s theme of 4Cs – Commitment, Care, Colours and Connection - were submitted for the Primary, Secondary and Open Divisions, and over 1,000 pieces of work were received when the competition closed in October.

We were honoured to have Mr Henry Steiner, Founder of Steiner & Co, an icon in the world’s graphic design industry and designer of the ISS logo to be one of the judges for the competition. Mr Steiner, together with Mr C P Ho, Chairman and Mr Stephen Yau, Chief Executive of ISS-HK, selected the winners on 10 November 2017. Three merit prizes, one 2nd runner-up, one 1st runner-up and one champion were picked in each division, and the overall champion was also chosen to be adopted as the official ISS-HK 60th anniversary emblem which will be used on collaterals throughout the year of celebration.
