  • Objectives

    This program provides professional support services to cross-border families in need, with the goal of establishing a comprehensive family support system. By enhancing communication and mutual understanding among family members, we aim to foster stability and harmony within the home, assisting families in navigating challenges. Furthermore, the program is dedicated to unlocking their inherent potential, empowering them to integrate successfully into the community. This program combines the efforts of social workers from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, linking up resources between the two cities. It involves the stationing of Hong Kong social workers in Shenzhen to provide services.

    Program Objectives

    • To enhance the mental well-being and family harmony of service users
    • To strengthen the resilience of service users
    • To increase service users' awareness of cross-border resources

    Service Users

    • Hong Kong residents and their families residing in Shenzhen
  • Service Contents
    • Casework:​ Individual, parent-child, and marital counseling
    • Group Programs:​ Support groups, workshops, thematic seminars, and parent-child activities
    • Telephone / Online Consultation:​ Providing information, professional advice, and counseling support
  • Service Fees

    Counselling and casework services are free of charge/ nominal fees for training programmes and activities

  • Service Entry
    • Apply to the centres directly
    • Referred by government departments or NGOs
  • Service Exit
    • Upon completion on agreed development goals
    • Upon completion of courses/groups/activities
    • Upon discussions with social workers
  • Service Hours

    Mon-Fri：9am-12pm / 1pm-5pm
