Charity Movie Premiere gives big lift to community in need.

More children, youths, families and the elderly are set to benefit from the fund raised in the ISS Charity Movie Premiere of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny” held on 18 February, thanks to sponsors, as well as close to 1,000 guests who attended and supported our latest fund raising campaign.

Started off with an opening ceremony, where our Chief Executive, Mr Stephen Yau, and guests welcomed our Patron, Mrs. Regina Leung, who attended the event and presented souvenirs to sponsors.

“It is a heartening moment for me to see people turning up tonight to mark the beginning of the Year of the Monkey by supporting our causes,” said Mr Yau in his welcoming remarks.

“We are honoured and privileged to have Mrs Regina Leung to join us tonight, along with many guests and friends.

“The event scale of this year is five times of last year’s inaugural movie premiere, which of course owes much to the generosity of our sponsors.”

Mr Yau had also acknowledged the ongoing support given by working partners, government bodies and other guests which have become a driving force for ISS to continue move forward to cater needs for the evolving community.

The Charity Movie Premiere was held at The Grand Cinema, The Elements.
