ISS-HK Annual General Meeting 2021

The Annual General Meeting 2021 of International Social Service Hong Kong Branch was held on 25 November 2021. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's AGM was held in hybrid mode - 150 members and staff attended the meeting in person at the Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, while the remaining members and staff attended via Zoom. 

It was announced during the AGM that Dr Chung See Yuen and Ms Vivien Ho would join ISSHK's Advisory Committee as new members with effect from 25 November 2021. Dr Chung is a private practice psychiatrist with a wealth of experience serving in public hospitals before his private practice. Dr. Chung served as ISS-HK Honorary Consultant since 1991. He provided professional help to our service users of school social work service and regular consultation to our social workers in case assessment. From November 2002, he also served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee of ISS-HK Family Institute and provided leadership on the development of Family Institute. Ms Vivian Ho, a Barrister-at-Law, specialized in the areas of criminal law, contract law, company law, probate, arbitration and construction law. Ms Ho served as ISS-HK Honorary Legal Consultant since November 2007. She provided staunch support and professional legal advice to various areas we encountered over the years. She also served in a number of community services and committees.

A special tribute session was held for Mr Chris Kwong, the late Director of Finance and Administration, and Ms Adrielle Panares, the late Director of Migrants Programme for Non-Chinese (Ethnic Minorities), two senior management members of ISS-HK who passed away during the past year.
