One of the ISS-HK’s social workers is among this year’s winners of the Excellence in Social Work Awards presented by the Guangdong Provincial Social Work Division Federation.

Ms Connie Lam is the recipient of the Excellence in Social Worker Supervision Awards, which gives recognition for social workers who have demonstrated outstanding mentoring in social work.

The social worker is being commended for her commitment and dedication in providing practical support and guidance for new graduates.

For the past three years, she has been travelling back and forth between Hong Kong and Guangdong to fulfill her roles as a social worker in ISS-HK, and a supervisor in the Fengyuan Family Service Centre.
