With the dismal weather conditions including rain and wind, ISS-HK football team, who for the first time made to the final round in the Social Worker’s Cup, lost narrowly to the Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (BOKSS) 4-3 last Sunday, April 10.

ISS-HK took a 1-0 lead during the early portion of the match, while the contending team later caught up and the two teams leveled at 1-1 in the second half.

The game turned when from 9 yards, BOKSS shot three goals straight at the goalkeeper, which made ISS-HK one point in arrears at 3-2 and became the runner-up of the Plate’s Final.

ISS-HK fielded a team which included seven players from various service units. The match was held at the Kwun Tong Recreational Ground.
