(5 February 2021) At the 10th China Charity Festival 2020, ISS-HK was among the organisations being named "Charity Organisation of the Year".  Ms Iris Liu, Programme Director of ISS-HK, also received the "Charity Person of the Year" accolade.

The 10th China Charity Festival was just held in Shanghai on 28 - 29 January, 2021. Initiated by various media organisations, the Festival is the first one in the Mainland that celebrates "community service", with the purpose to promoting the spirit of public service, charitable deeds, as well as fostering cooperation and communication among people from all walks of life on the issue of community service. Ten years since its launching, the Festival has become one of the most influential annual events in China's charity arena.

Iris Liu, Programme Director, was very encouraged by the award and said that this was a recognition of her work in the Mainland, especially in the rendering of cross-border service. She would continue to do her very best to serve people across boundaries who are in need.
